Captain Brendon ‘Boomer’ Baumeister is the Interim Asst. Marine Superintendent at FIO.  Boomer holds a USCG 1600 ton license and has been serving as a Captain on FIO ships for over a decade.  A graduate of the University of Florida with over 20 years of sea-going experience, Boomer is committed to facilitating research and education to the scientific community.
